This course focuses on the operating theory of positive displacement meters and types of positive displacement meters. It explains how pressure, temperature, and specific gravity affect the measurement of gas and how meter proving helps eliminate measurement errors as well as the need for routine inspections and maintenance of positive displacement meters. Finally, it provides information about common issues with PD meters and how to diagnose.
